F4E appoints Frank Briscoe as Director

The Governing Board of the European Joint Undertaking for ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ and the Development of Fusion Energy (Fusion for Energy) has appointed Frank Briscoe as Director ad interim. Briscoe was Operations Director at the UK's fusion centre at Culham in Oxfordshire and recently led an independent assessment of the cost estimates of the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ Organization for the construction of ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ.
The Governing Board thanked the outgoing Director, Didier Gambier, for his work. Gambier will take up a new position with the European Commission in Brussels.
