The Local Commission for Information (CLI) for ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ is holding a participatory public exchange on ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ on 28 November 2019 in Aix-en-Provence, France. This independent body acts as an interface between the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ Organization and the local population for questions of nuclear safety, radioprotection and the installation's impact on personnel and the environment. The ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ Organization and the French Nuclear Safety Agency (ASN) provide the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ CLI with any information necessary to the exercise of its mission. The group, which meets regularly, is composed of representatives from local government, environmental groups, trade unions, businesses and health professionals.
At the municipal library in Aix-en-Provence, ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ will take part in a cultural event called SPACE CAMP, celebrating 50 years of spatial conquest and the digital environment. With a variety of virtual reality tools, ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ will present fusion science, the Tokamak machine, and current construction status on site.
