These days, all attention at ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ is focused on construction and ultimately the achievement of the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ Tokamak's First Plasma. But at the same time, there are those who are already thinking beyond that date. During operation, how will we control the shape of the plasma and optimize plasma performance? Plasma control will be a crucial factor for the successful operation of ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ. Axel Winter, a physicist from Germany and one of the first Monaco-ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ Fellows, is leading the development of ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ's sophisticated plasma control system.
